SciLifeLab Open Science Monitor is launched
February 11, 2026
The SciLifeLab Open Science Monitor is a new service that provides a transparent, aggregated view of research outputs affiliated with, hosted by, or enabled through SciLifeLab infrastructures and services. The monitor brings together information on publications, datasets, and software to support the understanding of SciLifeLab’s research footprint and Open Science practices.
The SciLifeLab Open Science Monitor is powered by the OpenAIRE Graph, a global open database that uses automated full-text mining to link related research products across repositories, publishers, projects, organisations, and funders. This makes it possible to explore how SciLifeLab-related research outputs are shared, linked, and reused across the research landscape.
The service will continue to evolve, and feedback from the SciLifeLab community is essential to improving coverage, metadata quality, and supporting resources. Users are therefore encouraged to fully explore the SciLifeLab Open Science Monitor.
For questions or suggestions related to the SciLifeLab Open Science Monitor or Open Science activities at SciLifeLab, please contact the SciLifeLab Data Centre at datacentre@scilifelab.se. If you are affiliated with SciLifeLab, you can also join the #open-science SciLifeLab Slack channel.
